High Hopes Dashed

This would be a nice little machine that does a lot of stitches if it weren't so gutless. I finally bought a Talent which can handle heavy materials with ease. I'll keep the Patchwork, but only to make the fancy stitches where needed or wanted. It has been a huge disappointment. It often throws error messages for no reason.

Patchwork experiences

Bought this machine two months ago. I'm a professional seamstress with 40+ years of experience. First one broke after two days-could not change needle position horizontally. Returned to store, got a second Patchwork. Yesterday it stopped operating and flashed an error message E7. Nothing about it in the manual or on Singer website. Not a word. Packed it up today and returned to store. Bought a Brother. Singer was formerly a good choice. Not any longer.

This my 2nd macine like this. The first only lasted an hour or so... don't know why. This one is great so far! Haven't used all the features yet, but the ones I have are wonderful! The free arm is a plus as well. I am glad I bought it!

Love My machine

This is my first sewing machine and I've had it now for about one year. Very easy to operate and I've never had any issues with it. Finished 4 quilts so far (FMQ and all) and 5 or 6 more in the making. Overall a great machine.

I've had this machine for 3 months do far I love it I'm learning quilting. The real test is coming soon when I try to quilt a queen size quilt. I have done small items so far place mats tote bag table runner.
