Started using it immediately. Easy to use such as thread, change stitches, and change the presser feet. Like the fact it came with so many accessories. Great machine for the money. Love it!!

This is a nice machine for the personal sewing I am doing. The variety of stitches is fun to decide which will look good on the fabric I want to work with.

Got to sew for 45 minutes and it quit called customer service have to ship it back will be 4-6 weeks before I get something back .what kind of customer service is this will pay the card off before I get to enjoy sewing .think before buying

There are many wonderful features to this Singer Patchwork sewing machine. My favorites are the many stitches, automatic threader, and that it comes with a 1/4 foot and a walking foot that are not available. While I think the machine is 5 stars, I'm not that fond of the last thread port before the needle, having to turn the thread to a 45d. angle. I think the needle threader should return up under the machine or, that this last thread port would be on the right side of the threading bar. After using the machine steady for a week I am overall very happy with it. While it is not big enough to quilt my full size quilt, it is great for piecing and the price was very reasonable.

Quilting with the patchwork

While the machine is great to quilt with, was disappointed the walking foot that came with the machine did not have the guide with it like the modern quilter machine did ( a friend got the 8500 modern quilter with the bonus feet like the patchwork) now having trouble getting the guide without having to pay for a new walking foot.

The Patchwork is a good sewing machine. However if you like to quilt. It is not good for making quilts. There is not enough lighting for around the needle area. The space between the needle and the controls needs to be longer.

This machine is super easy to use. It took me about a minute to figure out how to sew a perfect buttonhole, and I don't sew. This is actually my first sewing machine, and I love it already. Here's to many happy years together.
