Great sewing machine for the price! This machine is easy to operate right out of the box. The presserfeet that came with it are just what a quilter needs to start piecing beautiful quilts. From traditional piecing and applique to Foundation paper piecing and quilt as you go this machine has you covered. I love the fact that this machine does not require hours of classes and manual reading to operate. Simple and straight forward this machine is great for beginers and experienced sewists alike. I am very happy with this machine.

Faulty beyond belief

I got this machine to replace my old singer machine that also gave up. I shouldn’t have to be a mechanic to be able to sew. Everytime I’ve used this machine in the past few months it’s had a new problem. It eats fabric, jams constantly (and yes I’ve done all the trouble shooting), and I’ve spent more time fixing it than sewing. Don’t waste your time. This is my second singer machine with countless problems. Run to another brand. This machine couldn’t be farther from user friendly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love all the features, especially the 'foot pedal free' option. My back issues have caused numbness in my feet, which makes it hard to use the foot pedal. The bobbin winder works flawlessly and threading the needle with the needle threader is a welcome addition for my aging eyes. Thank you for a great upgrade from my original Singer, which is 40 years old!

I will never buy another singer their machines suck they break very easily. Bought obe sewed one stitch and the bobbon thong broje code c4 took it back and got another one and the tension went out on it after sewing one row. Took it back and spent the extra money and got a Husqvarna viking best machine EVER

Cons: Difficult To Use, Not Durable

I love this machine - can use it blindfolded. Before I purchased it, I saw the review about the oil leaking. I checked before using and mopped up a bit. But as I used the machine longer, more and more oil leaked out - all over white linen! I was able to soak it out however I am now on my 3rd garment, still leaks oils even with me wiping the shank down frequently. Such a hassle for a great little machine.
