Although I don't sew a lot anymore but I do make crafty things from time to time and mend things, also make cushion covers for youth chairs. I find this machine to be able to handle anything I've required.
Thanks for the website that helps in competants like me.

Thanks for the website that's so professionally put together that an incompetant like me can follow the how-to. I thought when I purchased this machine that I could get lessons, however, lessons weren't offered for this machine. ??????
I sew everything on this machine. Love all the attachments and options. The extension is one of my favorites, gives you so much flat working surface. The needle threaded does not work anymore so I have to hand thread it.
I love to quilt and belong to a quilt guild. This machine is easy to carry to meetings when we are working on a project. I sewed on a Kenmore (made by Singer) for 25 years. This my second Singer. I tried to repair upholstery and it was too heavy for the machine. That is why I bought the second one which is great for regular fabric.
Sometimes I think this sewing machine was made backward. I don't like where the cord is located in the front on the side. I don't like how the machine hesitates to move. The door on the left side does not open so I have to use a seam ripper to get the thread in between. These are the things I don't like about this sewing machine. Now the machine does sew good, I also like the different designs, but I have to buy all the attachments that did not come with the machine.
