I purchased this machine a year ago and have been a busy lady. I have made 2 quilts, 6 purses, several table runners and matching place mats. This machine is great to work with. I enjoy the different feet, the attached table and automatic threader.

This machine does a great job sewing and the free motion sewing for quilting works very well. I had purchased a Singer machine and returned it to get this one. I am disappointed in the light. It is more to the left and makes it hard to see your seam side to sew. You have to have another light to see properly.

I'm using this for small projects and it does everything I need it to do so far. It's a very versatile machine for quilting or making clothing or smaller projects. I'm not an accomplished quilter but I can imagine anyone being unhappy with this machine. If you are making king sized quilts it might be difficult to push everything through because it's not a long arm machine, but that shouldn't be expected anyway.

I have enjoyed all the features on my new machine. This is the first Singer that I have owned. The only complaint that I have is that the power cord into the machine does not stay plugged in. Kind of annoying when your sewing and it comes unplugged and the machine stops.
