I received this sewing machine as a birthday gift as I was unsatisfied with the last Singer I purchased. I don't use it a whole lot anymore but when I was younger I sewed all the time making clothes for my children and myself. I must get back into it for the grandchildren. I do believe that more than a 2 hour class would be a nice attraction, I did go to the class and learned some things but would have liked to go to at least another one to learn more about my particular machine.
Pros: Can Withstand Use, Easy To Use, Versatile

I have been Sewing for 25 years on a very basic singer machine. Out finally got to the point where I couldn't get a firm stitch. I reluctantly asked for a sewing machine for christmas and revived the patchwork singer. IABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.... LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! So many options and acaccessories. It took a while to use all the stuff but I was sewing the first day with ease. I would recommend this machine to anyone novice to expert. Nice job singer...

I have had my patchwork for about 6 weeks now. I absolutely love it. I upgraded from a 40 year old Stylist and didn't realize they had changed so much but I like the improvements. The needle position stop switch is a great feature, along with the easy stitch selection. The semi self threading helps greatly too! I could go on for hours but just wanted everyone to know what a great machine this is!

This is the best sewing machine I've ever had. It's sturdy, strong and dependable. Does a beautful job. It has numerous choices for stitches when you want to add a nice touch to the edges of a quilt or any project. I JUST LOVE THIS MACHINE. I highly recommend it to anyone who sees or quilts alot and needs a good machine.

I love to quilt and belong to a quilt guild. This machine is easy to carry to meetings when we are working on a project. I sewed on a Kenmore (made by Singer) for 25 years. This my second Singer. I tried to repair upholstery and it was too heavy for the machine. That is why I bought the second one which is great for regular fabric.
