I loved the machine when i first started using it and then something happened and the bobbin case kept popping off track and breaking the needle. I had to return the machine within a week.

We so sorry that you weren't absolutely thrilled with your machine. Thanks for taking the time to leave your rating.
I bought this machine almost a year ago. It worked really well for my first few projects. However stitches started to loop out of the seams and it cannot seem to keep it's tension consistent. I have wasted a ton of thread trying to get the tension to work correctly for each different project, the longer I have the machine the worse it gets. Even if the tension works well for a while, than it starts leaving loops in the stitches. Also this should not be advertised as a quilting machine. The opening is not big enough for any quilt larger than a baby size quilt. Don't buy this machine. It would be worth spending more on something that has higher quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We set a high standard for ourselves, and we’re so sorry to hear this item did not meet your expectations. Thank you for taking the time to post this review.
I just got the machine, but need a manual to get started. Going green is great, but can get in the way of a good experience when it comes to learning a new machine. Instructions included helps with this.

Fantastic price fantastic product. You can’t go wrong. We purchased the Patchwork singer machine for our daughter. She loves it.she has made a quilt for Holloween.
I love the machine. I have a very old solid Singer Touch & Sew that I have used for years. Wanted a newer machine that could do more decorative stitches & have more modern features. Everything is great as I get to know the new machine. The only problem is the foot pedal DID NOT WORK. Start/stop button works and is cool, but I prefer sewing with the pedal. SINGER is sending me a new pedal.
Compared to the 40 year old sewing machine I was trying to replace, the Patchwork was a child's sewing machine. 1)The little light was placed to the left of the needle, so the needle arm blocked the light from shining on the right side of the needle, so I couldn't see the stitch guide. 2) My right hand barely fit through the opening to the right of the needle - not very comfortable - kept hitting my hand and I have medium sized hands. 3) The thread cutter was so high up on the needle arm that I could not use it - because my hand would not fit into the opening to the right of the needle and reach the thread cutter. 4) Most of the attachments were made out of chintzy plastic. 5) The little storage compartment, attaced to the front of the sewing machine, was not reachable if you you were using the extended bed. 6) I tried sewing a seam and the machine constantly beeped and stopped sewing. I had to take my foot off the foot pedal and apply pressure again to keep sewing. 7)Thread spindles that hold the thread were very thin and I doubt they would last long with all the sewing I do.
