i received this for xmas from my husband/children, I love it, almost feel like I'm cheating instead of sewing. I have an old Kenmore from the 70's, I enjoy that machine as well, but this machine is great for quilting and the value of the extras that were included, just the xtra quilting feet made the cost of this machine a huge value. runs quiet, love the auto threader, wish the throat area was a tad deeper, but, great value, excellent machine!!!!!

So far I really like this machine. I thought it was messing up and then I realized that my bobbin thread had moved to the front and slipped out of its slot. Once I fixed that, it sewed very nicely. I am exited to see how well it quilts.

I haven't sewn in a number of years, with the exception of an occasional patch or quick seam stitching. I took up sewing clothes, etc., again a year ago, and then my old Singer Stylist machine gave up. I was hesitant to get a machine with electronic controls, but have found it quite easy to learn and use this new Singer.

I love the ease of the threading the bobbin but only thong I don't like is when I got the foot feeder it clicks alot and was broken apart when I got it...but not sure if I can contact them to get a replacement. I have just been using it because I have to make masks...

I owned the machine for 5 weeks and sewed on it only a handful of times. Using a heavy duty needle, I sewed through four layers of jean fabric and the entire needle mechanism got stuck and twisted.
