Manual was easy to follow to set it up. Tried sewing on a couple of projects and it did an excellent job of stitching right out of the box. Selected this model for its built in stitches and buttonholes.

Got this machine for Christmas. Have sewed in several years but wanted to pick it up again and learn to quilt. Absolutely love this machine!!! I've sewn 3 quilts already for quiltsforkids.org, now I am about to start on a bigger one for my daughter!! Can't wait!!! i received this for xmas from my husband/children, I love it, almost feel like I'm cheating instead of sewing. I have an old Kenmore from the 70's, I enjoy that machine as well, but this machine is great for quilting and the value of the extras that were included, just the xtra quilting feet made the cost of this machine a huge value. runs quiet, love the auto threader, wish the throat area was a tad deeper, but, great value, excellent machine!!!!!

So far I really like this machine. I thought it was messing up and then I realized that my bobbin thread had moved to the front and slipped out of its slot. Once I fixed that, it sewed very nicely. I am exited to see how well it quilts.
