Disappointed!

I purchased this 2 years ago. I failed to register the product, bad move on my part. I started using the machine in April 2020. It was amazing, until..... The computer panel blew and no matter what stitch I chose it would only sew a zigzag stitch, the stitch I was using when it failed. Was told it would be better to buy another one than to get it fixed. From now on no computerized machines!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I LOVE IT!!!!! bought an M3500 but discovered that i needed speed control for free motion, so i upgraded to the 7285Q. it works a treat, i'm telling you. it is smooth and quiet and i am thrilled with it. i can even sew just by pushing a button, amazing!!!
I bought two for my two Granddaughters…..one has had it longer and immediately starting making all kinds of make up bags with zipper, lining some then made a super cute jacket from a quilt. The other one is takin lessons but thrilled with the machine.

Terrible machine

This machine is so terrible, no one is really selling it any more. I have owned my Patchwork for 14 months and I had to take it the warranty shop TWICE for a new motor. I owned the machine for one month when the motor had to be replaced the first time. It took Singer THREE months to replace the motor. Then, in less than one year from the time the first motor was replaced, it now needs a second new motor. I am certainly glad this machine is no longer on the market.

Hesitates when you start out. Foot pedal receptacle being in the front broke internally soon after purchase. Supposed to be for quilting- good luck fitting a quilt in this machine! The free arm quilting attachment has a tiny metal piece that pops out continually making it impossible to use it. DON'T buy this Singer!!!
This machine gets this review because I don't have an operating manual. Thus, I have no way to use my new machine. Not all people who buy machines have internet access. I do, but I have not been able to find a manual online.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We’re sorry you had a bad experience. We’ll strive to do better.
Sometimes I think this sewing machine was made backward. I don't like where the cord is located in the front on the side. I don't like how the machine hesitates to move. The door on the left side does not open so I have to use a seam ripper to get the thread in between. These are the things I don't like about this sewing machine. Now the machine does sew good, I also like the different designs, but I have to buy all the attachments that did not come with the machine.
