Clogs pretty easily

I like this but I think they made the discharge chute too narrow. It also has these ledges on the underside/bottom of the chute where the discharge auger is that is just asking to get clogged up. If it was made to be more rounded and the discharge chute was a little wider, I think this would be a winner.

Not great, needs some work

I love Greenworks and have all the lawn care tools, zero turn, push mower, 1 stage snow blower etc. I was the first in line to order this 2 stage blower, I was waiting for the past 2 years for them to release this. I wish I had waited, maybe it is because it is the 1st generation and still need to work the kinks out but it is not as powerful as other 2 stage battery blowers.
The last 2 storms have been decent snow, 6 inches or so and a little wet and heavier than normal but this 2 stage keeps on stalling out. I spend more time cleaning out the snow than blowing snow. I am not an electrical engineer but I think the sensors are too sensitive. There were a few times that it stalled out and it wasn't even clogged. I had 3 fully charged batteries and auger on high and would only go half width of the blower at a time and still it would stall out every few feet. This should be much more powerful than this and be able to eat through more snow than I was throwing at it.
I am pretty frustrated with my experience with this equipment so far.
I will say that I had an issue with my zero turn and the Greenworks customer service is outstanding so this the main reason I continue to support Greenworks and buy all their products. As expensive as everything is, the great customer service is a huge piece of mind.

It works but have several design flaws

Good: it helped me survive harsh upper MidWest winter by cleaning my driveway really fast and rather decently
Bad: the handle is not height-adjustable. If you're 6ft plus you'll be bending over. The front is very light, so unless you want to leave 1 in of snow below, you'll have to raise the back slightly and thus apply more pressure on the top of the unit to scrab snow properly
and snow exhaust tube... why is it cut flush with the unit? why not to make the opening like 5 in ABOVE the unit surface? With its current design I am constantly get covered with snow
Pros: Convenient
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works great!

I can finally add a review for this since we've gotten a bit of snow in CT. The snowblower had no problem chewing through about 5" of wet-ish snow. On the included 2 batteries, I was able to finish what I would consider a "standard" sized driveway with half of the batteries remaining. The snowblower itself was straightforward to learn and use. We'll see how it holds up over the long term, but no complaints so far!
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Effective, Powerful

Worked great on some serious snow!

I bought the snow blower this fall in anticipation of the winter in Northern Lower Peninsula Michigan.
I have had the opportunity to use it several times now and it has worked great!
This morning, I had about 8 inches of new snow and I finished my 75ft driveway in about 30 minutes.
The previous snow was not as much (about 4 inches) but it was much wetter snow.
No problem! Worked like a charm!
Best thing about it - the batteries for my riding lawn mower work for the snow blower. Saved me big bucks!
Pros: Easy to Use, Quiet, Durable, Effective
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought a month ago and we just had our first snow. Really impressive performance. Did our wide driveway (3 car), sidewalk, neighbors sidewalk around the corner as well as the opposite neighbors also around the corner. Took less than 30 mins for all of it. No breaks, no battery change required. We got 3 to 4 inches with more than 6 in some spots. The blower worked better in the deeper snow. This is great for neighborhood use.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Durable, Environmentally Safe, Effective, Powerful
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Tool!

I bought this tool in April of 2022 and have been very pleased with it. I have had an assortment greenworks 40V tools for years and the blower was the weak link of the system. I use the blower in my job and needed something better so I bit the bullet and invested in a new assortment of 60V tools. This blower really does the job, lasts longer and is easier to use at the same time. With the assortment that I bought I got low and high power chargers and I can use the low power charger with an inverter in my truck to keep the blower charged. No more gasoline cans to worry about! I am very happy with this investment! The only complaint is that it draws air in from the sides and sucks any loose clothing up against the grill. Not a big problem but something that you have to be aware of and you may have to hold it a little farther away from you than is comfortable.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Effective, Powerful

Hello ADF1,

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear about the experience you have encountered with this product. Here are a few troubleshooting suggestions to check out.
1) When the battery is inserted, the light should begin flashing green to indicate the battery is charging. If this light is not igniting or is flashing red, this may indicate an issue and we would be interested in hearing more about this. If the light simply goes solid red, try removing the battery and unplugging the charger for about 10 minutes and place them both indoors in a room temperature setting, as this might indicate the battery is at the incorrect temperature to be charged.
2) Ensure that the battery has been fully inserted into the charger. Sometimes this requires a firm push into place to make sure that it has been properly seated.
3) Try resetting the charger. To do this, simply unplug it for approximately 10 minutes and then plug it back in and try reinserting the battery. If the charger has been plugged in for extended periods of time, this can sometimes cause the charger to malfunction.
Should you continue to experience a problem with the battery and charger, please contact Greenworks Pro toll-free helpline at 1-855-345-3934. All we ask that you have access to the battery and charger so that we can complete troubleshooting with you and gather necessary unit information.
