Amazing power and extremely quiet (for a blower)

I bought this as a bare tool, since I have batteries from my other Greenworks tools. I was replacing my 40V Greenworks blower, which was pretty good for a lightweight, battery powered blower. This thing literally and figuratively blows that one away. I get quite a long run time with this blower (I haven't timed it, but I only charge the battery about once a month after many uses). What amazes me is that I can use it to blow the rocks out of my grass where my desert landscaping joins my lawn. It blows rocks out of my yard! I love the variable speed trigger, and the trigger lock is great for longer jobs as well. This is a great addition to my other Greenworks 60 Volt tools.

I had the opportunity to use my sister-in-law's Greenworks mower, trimmer and blower at her new home in Canada and loved them. Upon arriving at home I ordered the trimmer and blower. The blower is powerful and the velocity is easy to control. The trimmer is easy to handle. The 4 Ah battery provides plenty of time for my 1/8 acre lot. I would have bought the mower /too but already have a gas mower I like.

Great machine

This blower works great. It is easy to assemble and extremely easy to operate. In the past I have used a gas powered blower, and the power generated by this blower is very comparable. However like all battery machines, the lifespan of a single charge is quite short. To fix that problem, I purchased another battery so I am able to swap out the batteries to finish the job. The price is slightly more expensive than other gas blowers, but the extra value is worth the quality in my opinion.
Overall, I am extremely happy with this product and would recommend it to others.

I was given this blower as a gift. I already had a 40v cordless blower. This 60v blower is VERY powerful, a little heavier than my 40v because the battery is twice as big...but it's still very easy to use. It's not, however, quiet as listed. Lol. What I'm not happy about is the battery life. I fully charged the battery before the first use and then only used it to blow out my garage and driveway. This took only 10 minutes and then I checked the battery and it was down by 50% after such a short time. Other than the battery life, this is a powerful blower and works very well.

unfortunate, and disappointing

I bought this unit today with the intention of using it to clean my roof. I decided it would be reasonable to use it in the driveway, and areas adjacent. I am very glad that I did because 1) the unit didn't have a very strong air stream unless I used it on turbo, and 2) like several other complaints on this thread it stopped working after about 15 minutes. I wonder if there is a thermal cut out for the motor that tripped as I still had plenty of battery life. If I was up on the roof I would have been very upset. I had high hopes, and purposely bought what I thought would be a high quality unit
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my first experience with battery operated yard tools. They work great. I was surprised that the battery lasts long enough to blow our entire yards, with plenty of power.

Why have I been dragging that cord around?!!!

A couple of weeks ago I unboxed my new Greenworks 60V 540 CFM Cordless Brushless Axial Blower. Nice!
For the past many years I've been using an 8.4lb corded blower/vac, but I've grown sick of dragging the cord around, plugging and unplugging all around the house to go everywhere. When I saw the 60v commercial version comes with a brushless motor AND weighs under 8 pounds, I knew this one was for me.
The pieces fit together quickly and easily. I was amazed that the whole thing (including the battery!) weighed LESS than my old corded model. That made it so easy to use. Not dealing with cord management all the time cut my work time in half, especially when cleaning off the patio, around the pool, and the covered porch.
I had my wife try it, as she likes to do a quick clean-up when friends and family are dropping by. She loved it! (She's always disliked having to drag out the big outdoor extension cord to use it.)
And the power! It's so convenient to have the cruise control feature that keeps the power trigger depressed in normal power mode, which is plenty of power for everyday leaf blowing, etc. But the the TURBO-BOOST button really cranked up the power to the point that it was able to move decorative egg rock in a drainage ditch in the back yard. That's impressive.
Good-bye cords.
