Purchased at Lowes. Thought a 60V would be a plus. I'm on 4 charge and it will run about 8 minutes. Should have read the other reviews as others having same issues. Returning to Lowes
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello DMiller
The run time is based off of speed setting, load, and battery. This blower will provide a run time of 45 minutes when used with a 2.5Ah battery on low. Please be advised the blower does have a variable speed trigger. The harder you squeeze the more power you use. The run time of 45 minutes i based off of the lower setting, when the trigger is not fully depressed. The blower has an analog trigger, the harder you depress the trigger the higher the speed and for added thrust you can hit the turbo button.
If this is the first charge of the battery or the battery has been left with little to no charge for a long period of time, please allow it to charge up to 24 hours and check the LED status on the battery. If issues persist please consider contacting us before returning the unit so that we can support you before you make the decision to return it, we can be reached at 888-909-6757. We will be happy to look into this issue in more detail.
This is the best battery powered products I own. It is light weight, has eonugh battery life to blow side walks, driveway, porches and patio on one charge. I great not tohave to get out the gasoline powered back pack bolwer for the samll jobs.
Greenworks Cordless Jet Blower = A fun toy for adults. I had the chance to use my Greenworks Blower yesterday for the first time. The Greenworks blower was easy to operate with one hand, had more power, and will be my go-to choice for future yard work. I'm generally leery of battery powered anything but this tool is changing my opinion.
I was a bit skeptical about switching to battery power for my lawn care equipment, but it seemed like a risk worth taking. I haven't been using the blower for more than a couple weeks, so I can't speak to the durability. However, I do like what I see so far. The equipment is extremely easy to setup and begin using (it has to be if I can do it without trouble). The power is quite impressive. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the product so far.
The blower is powerful without doubt and lightweight too. But the battery doesn't last longer than 20 min. After that it's overheated and needs about an Hour to cool down before you can start recharging it. I bought it on the promise it works for 40 min:(
I would recommend this to a friend!

We're really sad to hear that the battery on your tool isn't perfomring. The average runtime when using this tool as a blower on low is up to 40 minutes however on high/turbo the average run time is up to 15 minutes. If you feel as though, this really isn’t the kind of battery life you’re experiencing, please just contact us so we can book a repair if needed for you. We can be reached by calling our toll free number 1-888-909-6757 or send us an email anytime at info@greenworkstools.com. We are here to help.
I was hesitant to buy anything that was battery powered lawn equipment - this thing has strength. It worked like a charm. I was able to blow off the whole driveway and sidewalk after mowing. The battery as long as I needed it. Very impressed It was super easy to put together out of the box and easy to use.
I highly recommend this tool. As a new homeowner I have been in the market for yard tools. Tried one of these battery powered tools. Awesome choice. The blower has great power to push debris of my driveway and porch. Ergonomics is great for the tool. I bet it will save money in the long run and seems like less maintenance and is probably good for the environment(battery waste, but less gas). I am impressed by the amount of power that these battery operated tools can produce and I think they put out just as much power as gas tools that I have used.
I was given this blower as a gift. I already had a 40v cordless blower. This 60v blower is VERY powerful, a little heavier than my 40v because the battery is twice as big...but it's still very easy to use. It's not, however, quiet as listed. Lol. What I'm not happy about is the battery life. I fully charged the battery before the first use and then only used it to blow out my garage and driveway. This took only 10 minutes and then I checked the battery and it was down by 50% after such a short time. Other than the battery life, this is a powerful blower and works very well.
