I love all the Greenworks tools

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over the past five years, I have purchased numerous Greenworks tools (leaf blower, self-propelled lawnmower, edger, tiller, pole saw, chainsaw, string trimmer, and zero turn mower) and have never had ANY trouble with any of them. I can’t wait to buy the 60V snow blower!

Doesn't last!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just purchased this blower to take the place of my 2016 60v blower which still works but seemed to be wearing down. Since I have this line of batteries for other equipment I thought it was a no brainer. Wrong, This blower is nice and quieter, starts quicker, but it only lasts a quarter of the time of my old one! . I couldn't believe it stopped after about 10 min of normal use with a 4amp battery! 2.5 amp lasts about 5 min.. feel stuck with this blower since it will cost so much to ship back and restock fees. (If they would even take it back) I will be using my old one till it dies and seek a different brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a multiple tool owner - 7 other tools this makes 8- and solid Greenworks supporter until now. They got it wrong on this product and I would not recommend. Advertises 60 min Max runtime. I only got 21 minutes on the included 4Ah- fully charged battery and 24 &1/2 minutes on a 5Ah battery I own from another GW tool. It is very heavy and for the price it should have a shoulder strap included to help with the heft. Hit the weight room before using this tool A metal impeller to do a better job of mulching rather than the plastic one GWs installed. The first 4-5 minutes on a full charge it will pick up and mulch maple leaf flyers but is mostly ineffective after that. Also has difficulty with actual Maple leafs if they are more than about 4 inches wide. I bought it mostly for picking up the flyers once blown into a pile. I have another GW 60V blower that is much more effective than this when used as a blower.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Blowers are considered a high-power draw application which means they do tend to drain the battery quite rapidly in comparison to some other tools Greenworks. However, there are several variables that will affect how long a cordless leaf blower lasts. Users can control the output of air with the variable speed trigger so you can dial back when in delicate areas and power up when clearing tough debris.
While a leaf blower vacuum can generally pick up maple leaves, it might be slightly easier to collect them compared to heavier leaves like oak, as maple leaves are typically lighter and have a larger surface area, making them more susceptible to being sucked up by the vacuum; however, wet or very large maple leaves could still pose some challenges, smaller, dry maple leaves are easier to pick up than large, wet ones.
