This blower works great and has enough power for most jobs. Bought it to blow off the deck of my lawn tractor but have ended up using it for most gardening needs.
Charger is broken at first use. Bought today, plugged it in, placed battery, and there is a clicking noise and no LED lights illuminating. So either the charger or the battery is broken before any use. This is my first Greenworks product and this doesn't inspire confidence in the brand. On hold with customer service now. If this doesn't get sorted out I'll probably buy gas since these batteries are crazy expensive and worry about the battery going bad and having to replace outside of warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Biggles, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and for reaching out to us. I am sure a GreenWorks advisor will be able to assist with the challenges you are experiencing. To our other readers who may be having a similar experience I would like to offer the following suggestions. 1) When the battery is inserted, the light should begin flashing green to indicate the battery is charging. If this light is not igniting or is flashing red, this may indicate an issue and we would be interested in hearing more about this. If the light simply goes solid red, try removing the battery and unplugging the charger for about 10 minutes and place them both indoors in a room temperature setting, as this might indicate the battery is at the incorrect temperature to be charged. 2) Ensure that the battery has been fully inserted into the charger. Sometimes this requires a firm push into place to make sure that it has been properly seated. 3) Try resetting the charger. To do this, simply unplug it for approximately 10 minutes and then plug it back in and try reinserting the battery. If the charger has been plugged in for extended periods of time, this can sometimes cause the charger to malfunction. Please note that our GreenWorks batteries are covered by a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase. If you have tried these suggestions and are still experiencing an issue, please kindly give us a contact GreenWorks at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS) or by email on info@greenworkstools.com for further assistance.
So great to be able to clean my entire driveway which is a 1/4 mile long without the need for an electric cord and plenty of power. The turbo gives you even more for more difficult spots. Plus the switch to keep the blower on save my fingers from strain. Very pleased.
My wife is the one making a career out of blowing dried-out leaves , dead insects and dust from our patio, so weight was an important consideration. We spent over an hour in the store trying various blowers but this one proved to be the best combination of power and weight; happy wife, happy life!
I hate gas powered lawn tools, and I got really sick of trailing around my property with multiple extension cords, so after entirely too much research, I picked this one. I am really impressed with it. It moves an amazing amount of air, completed the whole days' work on one charge, and it's so light, my small for his age 10 year old can wield it with no problem. In fact, he actually took it from me, and had quite a blast (heh!) cleaning the whole driveway for me! I also got the 60V chainsaw, which is a beast! I'm planning on replacing everything with the 60V models, string trimmer, hedge trimmer, mower, snow blower, and ditching all the incompatible chargers, multiple gas cans, & extension cords, that go along with the hodgepodge of tools that require them, and let Greenworks put the fun back into property maintenance!
I was a bit skeptical if this would serve my purposes, as i wasn't sure if it would be powerful enough or if the battery would last long enough to complete my work. I have an acre of land with a very long driveway and many decks to keep clean. I originally thought this would supplement my gas blower but i soon realized this one blower does it all for me. The battery last me about 40 mins. On the turbo setting. ( i mostly use the turbo setting) Its lightweight. The battery recharges in about 20 mins. The blower will move small stones on turbo. Ie asfault gravels size. I have the greenworks trimmer too. The batteries are interchangable and the trimmer works really well too. I would recommend.
