I was one of the people that said "I'll never get batter powered lawn equipment". I did not think you could get the power you need from a battery. But I got tired of dealing with my gas blower and gave this one a shot. Man was I impressed, this thing is no joke. Easily has more power that my 2 cycle "orange" blower. If your thinking about it, got for it. You will not be disappointed.
I bought this to remove leaves from my roof and gutters. Its debut was amazing! It was a dry day in fall but the gutters had ample pooled water. Starting at the roof’s crest I easily blew all leaves, twigs, and even branches down the roof and over the gutters. Then I walked along each gutter and was shocked at how well it blew out the accumulated debris and water. I also have a gutter scoop with a 5’ handle but DIDN’T NEED IT. The blower aced the job. Then I blew off my deck - the blower aced the job. Then the driveway - again, aces. I used its power conservatively during its debut because I was determined to finish the day’s agenda without recharging. Once done I put the battery on the charger and it indicated half depletion. I charged it for an hour then used the same battery to mow alot of that debris off the lawn with my Greenworks mower. They make a super pair!
Awesome! Had doubts about battery-powered yard fools? Not any more. You just won’t believe how good, how powerful, this leaf blower truly is. It puts out more CFM than my old gas-powered blower. Gets the job done more quickly and with a whole lot less noise and less vibration. It’s one of the best purchases I’ve ever made.
Just got it. It was fairly easy to assemble. There were some minor scuffs and foam on handle dad small tear due to packaging and shipping. The bail lever does not always release when you let go which could be an issue. Put batteries in and started it up. Quality overall seems good. Bought this to replace my Greenworks 20" 12 Amp corded that has served me well. This one is quite a bit larger so is size is an issue for storage I suggest you stick with the 20" smaller 60V version. It says two speed on the description on the website but I see no way to change speeds. It also says throws snow 30' but box says 20'. That's a significant difference. Now just need a good snow to try it out.
This item is extremely easy to assemble and simple to operate. The materials are sturdy and of good quality, giving it a solid feel. However the light weight (compared to other snow blowers I have used in the past) make it agile and easy to maneuver. I live in Minnesota and this year we got to test this already in the middle of October where we had to deal with 5-6 inch of super wet snow. Also the end of my driveway was blocked by a mountain of snow created by the snowplow cleaning the main road. The snowblower worked perfectly and saved my back. I would definitely recommend this tool. I bought it together with the 60V lawn mower so that I can share the battery between the two tools. This makes me feel like a get a better use for this purchase and a more efficient set up with less parts and pieces laying around.
