Received as a gift. It has decent power but does not last long enough for me. The charger has failed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Dnar,
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear about the experience you have encountered with this product. Here are a few troubleshooting suggestions to check out. 1) When the battery is inserted, the light should begin flashing green to indicate the battery is charging. If this light is not igniting or is flashing red, this may indicate an issue and we would be interested in hearing more about this. If the light simply goes solid red, try removing the battery and unplugging the charger for about 10 minutes and place them both indoors in a room temperature setting, as this might indicate the battery is at the incorrect temperature to be charged. 2) Ensure that the battery has been fully inserted into the charger. Sometimes this requires a firm push into place to make sure that it has been properly seated. 3) Try resetting the charger. To do this, simply unplug it for approximately 10 minutes and then plug it back in and try reinserting the battery. If the charger has been plugged in for extended periods of time, this can sometimes cause the charger to malfunction. If the issue continues, we would be interested in hearing more about this issue. Overall I am pleased with this snowblower. I only tested it in about 2 inches of snow, however it was wet and heavy. I used cooking spray on the chute to avoid clogs. It did clog one time completely, but any snow blower would clog in wet heavy snow. Didn’t even use half of the battery capacity to do my small driveway approximately the size of four cars, small front deck, larger back deck, and back patio. I was disappointed by how much the plastic scraper wore down after only one use. I realize it is replaceable, but I would like to something more reliable in its place.
I've been pretty successful overall using this blower to move snow. Got a real heavy snow ~6 inches of wet stuff (tough for any blower this size) and tried using this to move it. It was fairly easy to overload if I wasn't careful. Had another 4 inches of light snow a couple days later and this thing worked flawlessly. Just have to know what its capabilities are and you'll be fine.
Get a good grip on this blower. This blower REALLY blows. There are great features on this machine. There is an adjustable speed lever that keeps the blower at one speed. Then there is the TURBO button. This button puts the full power to the blower. Release the button and it goes back to your preset speed. Great tool.
I can’t believe I struggled with cords and heavy leaf blowers for all these years. It is SO easy to just grab the Greenworks blower and go. I find myself using it way more often for smaller tasks than having to drag out the cord, hook it all up, wind the cord back up, blah blah blah. Plus it is way more powerful than I would have thought. Love the turbo button on top! will def be getting more Greenworks tools!
