I purchased this product a month ago before the first snow. My son follows a contractor on Instagram and he said this snow blower was the best on the market. Battery life is good and it went through 8” of snow with drifts with no problem. It also cleaned the bottom of the driveway where the plows pile up snow. It did a great job.
This is a wonderful machine. The battery last longer than I do as I am an 85 year old lady.We live in Vermont where there is lots and lots of snow . We live in the country and the ground is uneven, frozen dirt and also some paved area.
I bought this a year ago. It was garage kept until we had a snowstorm. I’m a nurse so I came home late from work. I charged the battery the night before. It was about 6 inches of snow. The snowblower lasted about a minute then kept stalling and clogging up with snow. I had to go shovel after working a long day. We’ve had 2 more snowstorms. Same thing! I want my money back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Nurse,
We are sorry to read that you are not completely satisfied with this snow thrower. Generally, there are a few causes that create this problem: 1) The most common issue related to a unit only working for a few seconds is the connection or battery charge, if the charge is full; please make sure the battery clicks into place. Intermittent function can occur when the battery has not been correctly seated into the compartment. 2) When the battery is too cold, the unit will stall or not start. If you could put the battery onto the charger (even though it’s fully charged), for 15-30 minutes to warm it up and then place it immediately into the snow thrower and begin blowing. We recommend, storing your battery and charger indoors, and charging indoors, in a room temperature, clean, dry place. If you still have questions or an unresolved issue after going through theses troubleshooting suggestion or just want to speak to a Greenworks product expert please contact us at info@greenworkstools.com or call our helpline at 1-888-909-6757. We would be happy to look into this further with you.
My review may be a bit premature as I don't have much real world experience, yet. I have used it to blow snow, and for that it works well. My only complaint, and it's not enough to cost a star, would be lack of mounting options. I'd gladly pay a few more bucks to have a plastic mount in which to slide the unit for hanging on the wall (in case Greenworks is listenening). Otherwise, I'm all in on Greenworks. I already had the string trimmer and am looking at the chainsaw next.
Light, easy to maneuver, worked well against 5" wet snow. Because it is so light I had to think about keeping it level and letting it do the work. Tilting it forward does not work as well.
Was excited for this. I have 5 other tools and they all are great, never an issue. I got this, put it together and it was missing the pin for the control arms. I improvised with one I had. Put the battery in, lights turned on but nothing else. Tried the 5 other batteries I had and all with the same result. Have to wait until Monday to call with 6-8 inches of snow coming tomorrow. So angry.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
