I hurried up and bought this tool to go with my ever-expanding arsenal of Greenworks Pro 60v tools, and it has the same great power as the rest of them! It took slushy, heavy, wet snow, and threw it at least 15 feet - I actually had to direct the discharge down to keep it from overshooting the target! The runtime was sufficient for me to clean my long walkway and 2 parking spots on my street, with still 1/2 a charge left (4Ah battery). Very happy with my purchase!
Bought one just before all the snow of the 2021 Chicago winter. A lot more powerful that I expected - it easily handled 13-15" of drier snow as well as 6-8" of heavy wet snow with ease. The dual battery option is a great idea if you have a larger area to deal with. Wish I had done this years ago!

Bought this snowblower in late January. Since then we have had 39+ inches of snow. It has worked great! Way easier on my back than shoveling. Was able to do entire double-wide driveway and front sidewalk on a single charge. It even did pretty well where there was a lot of heavy snow and slush at the end of the driveway. Great machine! Will buy the lawnmower that uses the same size battery this Spring.
Busy winter (2021) here in Southwest CT and the Greenworks 60v Snow Blower is up to the task. It was easy to put together and easy to use. It’s lightweight so my 10 and 13 sons can use it no problem (and it’s single stage so it’s safe for them). So far I’ve used it in ~8” of snow and it handled it well. I have a sloped driveway about 75 feet long. I was able to do the entire driveway on a single charge (of the two batteries). It would be nice to have self-propelled capability but the unit is lightweight enough to where it doesn’t matter.
Good if you want to exercise and snow throw at the same time. Only effective for snow no higher than 10 inches so far for me. Slush and ice is very hard.

Hello Hbl8
Thank you for your review. It is unfortunate to read that you are not overly satisfied with this product. For best use in heavy snow types, you will want to move less at once. Once a full pass has been completed, only move about a third of the width of the unit with each pass going forward. This will help with the load acting against the unit and should hopefully assist in a more enjoyable user experience. Should you still require further assistance, we would be interested in hearing more about this issue. Nothing is more frustrating than having to mix oils, yank on a start cord or work around and extension cord! Problem solved with this baby! It's easy to use, battery lasts a good while AND it is light enough that I can take it up the ladder and blow out my gutters - cutting cleaning time in half!! I recommend to all my female friends who want simple solution that is ready to go at the push of a button. (I also have and love my battery operated snow blower and plan on a mower next!) PS - thank you for making the batteries interchangeable! Another product line plus!!!.
