battery doesnt last like its advertised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this a week ago. I've had it out almost every day since I got it, The advertisement states that this lasts 50 min on a charge (on low). This is false. I've only gotten about 20-25 min each time I've used this. First I thought it was the battery, but I've used my other batteries from my lawn mower and its the same result. I'm pretty disappointed with their claim this lasts 50 min on a charge.
Pros: Powerful
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Strong Leaf Blower - Happy with Results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this less than a month ago and used it once. I have a lot of trees and leaves in the front and back of the home. The velocity was much better than expected and I went to town blowing all the leaves away from over 300 linear feet of fence. The blower was STRONG and I was happy with the results. The battery did run out of charge after a little over 30 minutes and the moment you hear it slowing down, it doesn’t last long until it stops. I was using it at full power. I may have to get a second battery. Regardless, this unit is highly recommended and I am very happy with the purchase!

replaced my old 60volt greenworks blower that was approx. 5 years old and this blower clears my yard of leaves in half the time. The only negative is it is much heavier. if you are older, have shoulder problems or both i would recommend buying a shoulder strap, that will be my next purchase.
Pros: Easy to Use, Environmentally Safe, Powerful

BATTERY SUCKS

I purchased this product and used it several times and the battery that i reviewed previously sucks..with medium power not even using the turbo function I only get 15-20 minutes of runtime..THEIR AD STATES UP TO 60 MINUTES OF RUNTIME..Clearly not close..

A 4.0 Ah battery provides up to 30 minutes on high power, with 20 minutes being typical. The variable speed trigger lets you adjust airflow for delicate or heavy tasks.
You can also extend runtime with additional batteries. Compatible 60V options include the Greenworks Pro 60V 5Ah (SKU 2996802) and 8Ah (SKU 1801702)is was their response to my review

Runs through batteries FAST

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely disappointed with this blower. I go through 3 fully charged batteries in under 15 minutes at full power. Very difficult to use at partial throttle due to the positioning of the battery putting all the behind The wrist. My other greenworks blower is 100cfm less but I’m at least able to complete my .20 acre lot in one day with 2 batteries whereas this model takes 2-3 days with 3 batteries.
Pros: Powerful
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Greenworks 60V blower has a variable speed trigger and turbo button for regulating output pressure. When operating the blower on turbo speed, the runtime will be reduced significantly. This is not unexpected; it is simply an indication of just how much power is required to create that kind of speed at a high volume. To extend your run time, try using the blower setting at a lower speed when high speed is not a requirement, as blowers are considered a high-power draw application which means they do tend to drain the battery quite rapidly in comparison to some other tools. Alternatively additional batteries can be purchased to extend the running time, here are some 60V options.
