It works perfectly for what I bought it for, I needed a blower that I could blow leaves and debris off my front porch and sidewalk with at the drop of a hat without having to fire up the gas blower and having the smell and smoke for just a 30 second usage, so I bought this one and I absolutely love it. It has a turbo button that helps get the tougher more stubborn areas…
Love it…❤️
Love it…❤️

I am a 79 year old female with back and knee problems and wanted a lightweight backpack blower I could handle and could handle my 3/4 acre lawn area. This blower is everything I could have wanted and more. Lightweight, comfortable on the back, easy to take on and off, loads of power and long lasting battery.

Love the battery and the power.
Noise is more than expected but tolerable with gears.
Heavy for sure… and a tad too long for my frame 5-7 and the tip of attachment scratches the ground whenever I’m not careful enough.

Blower works great, but the battery only lasts 15 minutes. I have a lot of Greenworks items, lawn mower, weed eater, power washer, chain saw, hedge trimmer and this blower eats through the battery power more then any other device. All my items are Pro 60V and thank god I have multiple batteries to choose from. Even with a 60V 5.0Ah I can only get 25-30 minutes use. I get more time out of a 21in. self propelled mower.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello,
Thank you for your review. We appreciate your sharing your feedback and experience It is true what you say about blowers depleting the battery quicker than your other tools. Blowers are considered a high power draw tool. The battery draining quickly is simply an indication of how much power is required to create that kind of speed at such a high volume. One of the benefits of Greenworks tools is that you can interchange batteries with tools that are of the same voltage. The upshot of this is that as long as you have multiple batteries, you can continue the run time by having one charging while you use the other and continue to swap them out. We hope this helps! Thank you again for sharing.

Gone are the days of getting the old gas-powered blower out of the shed and dealing with the manual cranking, winterizing, and other maintenance. I had a battery powered "sweeper"/leaf blower that I would use to clear off the deck area, but this PRO series from Greenworks replaces that, too. I can keep this unit in the basement or closet and quickly grab it to clear off the deck, porch, driveway, sidewalk and not have to worry about dealing with gas and oil and additives. I've had no issue using this to clear piles of acorns and leaves from the driveway. I haven't had it during a full fall season to see how it handles wet leaves, but I'm thinking it will do just fine for my needs (especially with the turbo power option). Although this one came with a 5.0 Ah battery, I'm glad I have a 2nd 5.0 Ah battery from the mower so I can swap them out (I'll need it due to the number of trees and amount of leaves we clean up).

Let's get the negatives out of the way first: the blower with the battery is a bit heavy. Now that is said and done, the blower comes with a shoulder strap that takes the weight of the blower out of the hands and arms and makes this tool easy to use without tiring the grip of hands or lift of arms. And it is an AMAZING leaf blower--strong in normal mode and blows just about anything moveable when on turbo. Being without a cord makes this so useful and safe--no cord to pull around or trip over (a critical aspect when removing leaves from the roof of the house), fast (I cleared the parking area and driveway in less than half the time of my old corded blower without struggling in tight places) and long lasting (the 5 ah battery is plenty for any job I want to tackle). IF you opt for a cordless leaf blower, this one is for you; don't skimp, get the one that will make every job easier.

Bought for my wife - she loves it! No more dragging the cord through the flowers and I don’t have to take the knots out afterward! Does a great job - plenty of power & battery life.
