Thank you for sharing your experience. Pine needles can be especially difficult to move because they are heavier, denser, and tend to wedge themselves between river rock. While the 60V 660 CFM blower performs well for lighter debris like aspen leaves, it is common for pine needles especially from ponderosa trees to require more focused air pressure.
For tougher debris, consider using the narrower concentrator nozzle to increase air velocity, or using short, targeted bursts to help lift the needles out of the rock. We hope this helps! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this is great light weight backpack blower. The battery life does leave something to be desired. Without turbo, the battery lasts about 25 mins on the highest setting, and the highest speed drops as the battery drains (the last 5 mins of battery life has probably less than half the flow than with a full battery).
However, this still beats my Ryobi hand held blower for sure and much easier on the wrist!
