Cuts as good as the gas two i used to have! Only limits is the battery. I have 2 and that gets me through most jobs. Would i buy it again ?, absolutely....
Very powerful but chain fell off 3 times on first use. Very frustrating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Larse,
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you have experienced an issue with the chain not staying on. New chains tend to stretch; so be sure to check the chain tension frequently and tension as required. However, be sure to never tension a warm chain before storing as chains shrink when cooling and this can damage the chain, bar and saw. Please ensure that when you remove the side cover that the following parts are there and in order: sprocket (chain wheel), chain wheel washer and finally the c-lip. These parts are imperative when it comes to keeping the chain on. Please note that this product carries a 4-year warranty from the date of purchase. Wearable parts carry a 90-day warranty against wear and tear. If you notice any of these parts missing or you are still experiencing issues, we would be interested in hearing more about this issue. Please submit an email using the customer contact page on our website or give us a call at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS). All we ask that you have access to the unit so that we can complete troubleshooting with you and gather necessary unit information.
By far the best lawn tool I have ever bought. Easy to use and cuts very well. Battery lasts till I'm ready to put it down then recharges quite fast. No more gas and oil. Environment friendly.
I bought this saw a year ago to maintain trails on a heavily wooded 25-acre property in NW Minnesota. It has performed very well cutting standing trees and deadfall up to about 12" diameter or occasionally a little bigger and including hardwoods and pine. It's lightweight, quiet, starts easily, and shuts down immediately when binding occurs during a cut. One charge usually outlasts my will to saw: about an hour of steady work. I also have a GW 60-volt string trimmer for about 3 years and I've been happy with that tool as well.
Works ok. Maybw it needs the bigger battery.. idk. I use it around the sawmill cutting limbs and knots. Sometimes it will just stop midway thru a cut. I have to let off the trigger for a minute then resume. It could be better.
