Hedge trimmers great, pole saw not so much

Used hedge trimmers and pole saw for the first time. The hedge trimmers are great. The chain fell off the saw about five or six times. Power is good on both but really frustrating if it’s going to keep falling off like this. It becomes a two person job to get the chain back on constantly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you have experienced an issue with the chain not staying on. New chains tend to stretch; so be sure to check the chain tension frequently and tension as required. However, be sure to never tension a warm chain before storing as chains shrink when cooling and this can damage the chain, bar and saw. Please ensure that when you remove the side cover that the following parts are there and in order: sprocket (chain wheel), chain wheel washer and finally the c-lip. These parts are imperative when it comes to keeping the chain on. If you notice any of these parts missing or you are still experiencing issues, we highly recommend that you give our Customer Care team a call at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS), so we may learn more about the circumstances in which the tool has failed and further assist you.

very nice saw. Had trouble with chain falling off, but checked bar and it was bent. Probably due to shipping. I had spare bar and chain stayed on with no problems. Lots of power and really like they corrected the problem with the oil tank being too exposed as in earlier models. Battery life is as expected but will last pretty good on smaller logs, the larger logs do use more power. I tried to register the saw online after I got the email, but it wouldn't work, so i tried to call and see how to do it but customer service was backed up, I was on for 50 minutes and still had 12 callers ahead of me. They need to improve that area, thats why i dropped it by one star, thought about two star drop but could have been a telephone glitch on their end. Very nice product!

This is an excellent 2 way machine. The saw cuts 3 in branches easily. It's easy to handle and can reach those tough to get branches. You can switch the pole hedge trimmer very quickly. The hedge trimmer is very efficient on taller grasses and weeds. The ticker woodier hedges can cause some problems.
