Bought this two months ago and keep trying to find more uses for the pole saw around the property. Bought it with one task in mind and just keep using it for others. Love the battery option and bought blower two weeks afterwards. Looking at other tools to add to the collection.
The perfect chainsaw, light weight and plenty of power.

I'm super impressed with how light weight and powerful the saw is. Right out of the box I was able to easily drop a tree and cut up the larger branches. I've used gas powered saws before and you waste half the time trying to get them started. Not with a battery powered saw... just squeeze the trigger and get the job done.
LOVE IT! Great for quick branch cutting and more serious tree cutting projects. Lighter than my gas powered unit. With my other Greenworks tools, I just carry a spare battery along with me for longer cutting jobs. Not having to mess around trying to get a gas powered unit to start is great so I don't procrastinate in doing things. I'm a true believer in Greenworks products.
When my gas mower shot craps, we invested in a 60 Volt Greenworks mower. Then we added the 60V backpack blower. And then when I got sick of messing with the chainsaw for an hour just to get 15 minutes of cutting, I trashed it and got the 16 inch 60V Chainsaw tool. Already having two 60V batteries, we are rockin. My wife LOVES the mower because it ALWAYS starts with a push of the button. I LOVE the chainsaw because it cuts like butter and AlWAYS starts with a push of the button. And our blower is powerful and easily clears our paths on our 5 acres and is especially handy for moving lots of leaves in the fall. We no longer have ANY gas powered lawn tools. The frustration, the noise, the smell, and the hassle are all gone. We are looking at the next Greenworks 60V tools to add to our collection. Thanks for making such outstanding equipment.
This is my second 60V Greenworks chainsaw as the first died from corrosion on the throttle switch wiring. The current design is modified/improved in some aspects. It still handles well and is comfortable those who operate gas saws. I am having an issue with my chain jumping off the bar, when this happens the chain drive teeth get so beaten up that they will not fit back into the bar & I end up grinding the burrs off. It may just be this chain as I have yet to get a second chain or try my 16" bar. I feel the Greenworks is a better value compared to Milwakee but the verdict is still out on longevity. My first saw had electrolytic capacitors in a potted "control brick", this worries me as it well know that electrolytics wear out & need replacement.
