When using it laterally (horizontally) to trim thick hedges, I've had trouble with the chain disengaging. As a result, I've become quite good at resetting the chain on the bar. Maybe I need more experience and practice with the saw so that the chain will not disengage so often.

Hello Jader,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us! Chains stretch with use. When new, they stretch more. The tension on a new or newish chain should be checked and tightened every 20 minutes of cutting or so, it can get away from you fast. This is normal stretching. If ever you have specific questions or concerns about one of our products, please feel free to contact our Customer Care department using the customer contact page on our website or give us a call at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS).
Everything I needed in a chainsaw. Enough torque to fell any modest sized tree up to about 6.5 inches trunk with confidence. Very easy to use and maintain
Dangerous tool. Fell apart while using up on the tree.

Just got it yesterday. Bring it to job site. Wes so excited about it. Unfortunately. The part with battery fell from the tree while holding the shaft. Almost hit my guy on the ground. Super danger. Poor design.... just three tiny screw holding the shaft and the main part with battery without any retainer or pin in it. I bought a set of tool from them and this is the first I use. Really disappointed. But the x range 18in chainsaw work pretty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
