I bought this last month and recently tried it out for the first time on some good-sized( around 4" diameter) branches that were downed by wind in my backyard. The saw made quick work of the slicing and dicing.
I've used the 60 volt chainsaw 3 times, so far, and just ordered a pole saw to go with it because i like it so much. For me, the neatest feature is the fact that I can go around my 20 acres trimming, and it doesn't need to be pulled to start at every location. With gas I have to stop the saw, move to the next location, and start it up again. The convenience factor is really great.
Good cutting performance, but chain detaches too easily

Pros - Cuts great. Good battery life. Has two options for pole length. Cons - Chain comes out of its track frequently, requiring a tedious reinstallation each time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello AG47,
Thank you for your feedback! We are glad to hear you are enjoying the product. Chains stretch with use. When new, they stretch more. The tension on a new or newish chain should be checked and tightened every 20 minutes of cutting or so, it can get away from you fast. This is normal stretching. Tension techniques can be found in the owner's manual. If you require additional assistance, please contact us directly at 1-888-909-6757 and we will provide an instructional guide to help you navigate the tension on your chain. We look forward to speaking to you.
I like the lack of having to find the fuel prime the saw and then repeatedly try and start it. This saw is cheque that it has oil for the bar, has a charged battery and go to work. Enough said.
I bought this tool to trim a couple of trees I have, including a palm tree. The 20" hedge clipper does a great job at shaping the tree and the chainsaw easily cut the bigger branches. The chainsaw is also good for trimming palm tree branches. The only negative is that it is heavier than I thought it would be when fuly extended.
Easy to setup with a quick charging battery. I have used it 2 times so far with the battery lasting over an hr with many 4 to 6inch cuts. Happy so far.
