I had a 16" Pro 60V chainsaw for a few years and upgraded to the 18" chainsaw. The difference is dramatic, especially the new battery. I was happy with the 16" chainsaw, but I'm totally thrilled with the 18" saw and the improvements that Greenworks made.

lasted longer than expected. I was able to cut down 3 trees, all about 12-14 inches. And cut them up for firewood.

This tool is absolutely amazing for trimming off "Head Bangers" in my yard. the great thing about it is that I do not need to go get gas, check the oil (except for the bar oil) or jerk my arm out of socket trying to crank it. This Greenworks tool is capable of cutting of 3" limbs with ease. It is so simple I call it my Dreamworks tool! Chris Skarzynski

Excellent battery powered saw! I've used multiple different kinds of battery and gas powered saws, and I'd say my favorite so far, in the 60v battery platform, is this saw.
Pros: Feels solid, handles well, has real bucking spikes, good bar length, has metal bottom plate, very powerful, good chain speed, very efficient on battery usage, overall quite a value.
Cons: With a 4ah battery, or larger, it may
be a bit heavy for people with weaker arms. Chain brake arm seems slightly flimsy.
As always with almost any chainsaw...it leaks bar oil...
So keep it in a case, or put something under it.

The saw arrived in great shape and the battery and charger worked as it should. The chain saw works and cuts awesome and great to be able to do things with out a cord. I would recomened this saw. The price is little high but you get what you pay for as the saying goes.

charged the battery and immediately put the saw to work. I loved not having to pull a rope. I just trigger the saw and cut down an eight inch tree. It was quick and easy. I really like this saw.

I recieved the saw quickly. I put the battery on charge while I was doing something else. when the battery was charged I cut down an eight inch tree that was in the way. I love the fact I did not have pull a rope to start the saw. I also love the fact I do not have to deal with old fuel. This is a good saw for an older man like myself. It lets me continue to keep our place clean of unwanted growth.
