Smooth and quiet

Tried this vs. my Husky. Very pleased and surprised it performed so well. Took down most of the main tree after having pole saw trimmed. Had to take it piece by piece due to homes in suburbia and hanging over neighbors fence as well as mine. The saw was excellent in every area. I used my mower battery which is the 60 v newer version. Took out the tree, cut all down to manageable pieces, and did most of the clean up on one charge, one battery. Finished with my older version battery, no problems at all.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Inferior battery life

The battery only supplies 10 minutes of cutting time. With small branches, that might be anywhere from a half hour to an hour of cutting, broken up by periods of letting the saw rest. But on large logs, I can only get about three cuts done before the battery is too drained to continue. That's right. Three cuts. A saw this size, labeled 'Pro', is completely incompatible with such a short battery life. Do. Not. Buy. It.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Well built machine, but

Very solid high quality materials. But, noticeably heavier than gas in the same size. Ok for small projects, but weight can ware you out. Be prepared to swap out battery often.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Battery powered saw

Purchased the 60 volt after borrowing my neighbors 80 volt Greenworks Pole Saw. The 60 Volt seems just as effective as the 80 volt, maybe a little bit shorter battery life. Cuts branches with no effort and even some big oak logs with ease. Very impressed for battery operated. The battery seems to take about 2 hours to fully charge if you drain them completely, but with a spare battery or two I wouldn't be surprised seeing landscaping companies use this in a commercial setting, especially with gas prices now.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this whole line of products. I have the edger, chain saw, pole saw, weed eater and the leaf blower. I cannot praise them enough. I keep my batteries charged and they are so easy to use. Very efficient and I love how quiet they are. I use the blower every day and have had it for 5 years, no issues at all

I bought this16 inch chain saw to replace an old 2 cycle saw I owned. After purchasing a Greenworks Weed Wacker a few years ago I really love these products. They are light weigh, easy to use quiet and do all the things my old 2 cycle units did without needing to mix gas. Both items are perfect for a home owner like myself.
