Light weight but gets the job without dangerous startup for gas chainsaws

Great Value and Reliable Brand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I NEVER thought that I would buy an electric lawn mower, muchless an electric lawn, pole saw, leaf blower, snow thrower, and now a chainsaw. But I have. And they're all Grenworks products. Like many people, I thought that these products weren't as capable as the gas powered machines and tools. Boy was I wrong. And each product that I purchased and used met or exceeded my expectations. All of the products are so quiet that I don't have to wear noise reducing headphones. I just pop the battery into the tool and I'm ready to go. I don't have to worry about getting gas, putting oil into the machine/changing the oil/or making sure I have oil in the house. The only thing that I have to do is make sure that the batteries are charged and I'm ready to go. When I saw that this kit was on sale and it included a rapid charger, a 60v 5a battery, and the chain saw itself, ordering the kit was a no brain: I looked up my user id and password and I was off to the races. Thank you Greenworks for making quality products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty sweet. My saw wasn’t assembled and it took me a bit to figure that out because I’m not a natural, wish it came with bar and chain oil as well. Otherwise a great tool.
Pros: Cost-Saver, Easy to Use, Quiet, Effective, Powerful

No need, this covered with everything you need except for bar and chain oil and it's super easy to use. Cuts exceptionally well and the battery actually lasts a long time. I know some people say it's too heavy and if you plan on using it for hours at a time it may be, but for cutting up firewood or around the yard tasks it's no issue at all. If you're on the fence, just go ahead and buy it. You won't regret it.
