[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so sick of cleaning the carburetor. Tired of the 2 stroke fuel.
Pull starting in the cold.
Fouled out plugs.
Noisy.
This new electric chainsaw is no toy.
Sure, the battery doesnt last as long as a tank of gas... but the charging is fast. The power/torque is phenomenal. The noise level is so so much better too. Quieter than my sawzall. Its a bit heavy for one hand use. The weight is an advantage when cutting. So glad I have this saw (along with all of my other 60v tools).
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Durable, Effective, Powerful
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this as a "Keep in the truck" saw. Didn't want to bother with the smell of gas. It sat in a cold truck, but when a tree was across the road, I had the power to clear the road.

Plastic Junk

Buyer beware! Its not a tool but a toy, oil plug will not turn down, thread receptacle in chain oil tank is flimsy and will break rendering the saw "useless". Iam beyond tired of the lack of quality that the consumer is faced with and this is another example, I want a full refund and I will never recommend greenworks to any serious worker, "BUYER BEWARE"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for sharing detailed feedback on the 60V 18" chainsaw. The oil cap and reservoir threads are designed to seal with moderate hand pressure, so difficulty tightening or signs of cross-threading can usually be corrected with a few checks.
- Remove the oil cap and inspect both the cap threads and tank opening for debris or plastic burrs. Clean and re-seat carefully.
- Start threading slowly and ensure it catches evenly, if resistance is felt early, back off and realign to avoid cross-threading.
- Do not overtighten; a firm hand-tight seal is sufficient to prevent leaks.
- Verify the cap gasket O-ring is seated properly, as misalignment can make the cap feel like it will not fully tighten.
If the threads in the tank are already damaged, the unit may require service or replacement of the affected component. We urge you to contact Greenworks Customer Support for further assistance. We can be reached via Live chat on www.greenworkstools.com or call us on 1-888-909-6757.
Have your model number and proof of purchase available to speed up assistance.
Support can walk through the cap or thread issue in real time and determine whether a replacement part or unit service is the best path forward.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Time to retire the 2 stroke Husqvarna. I own several other Greenworks tools and I am highly satisfied with all of them, so I thought i'd look at a chainsaw. Plenty of power, lots of battery, much less noise.
Cut , limbed, and cut to length a 16 in dia. apple tree in less than 1/2 hour. Still a little battery left, but I was done. excellent tool

My 60v 18" 2.5KW chainsaw is definitely powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very impressed by my Greenworks 60v 18" 2.5KW chainsaw. Of course I expected excellent performance, and that is what I got.
I have used fuel powered chainsaws for many years and more recently battery power and I have not been disappointed by the battery power since the fuel powered ones were a pain to get started.
But Now this 2.5KW 18" Greenworks chainsaw is superior to any that I have used in that size.
