I added the Greenworks rechargeable chainsaw to my Greenworks stable and now I dont have to fight with a pull starter cable or gas/oil mix ever again. It can cut up several trees on one charge and if you get another battery you can keep on cutting.
What a great chainsaw! Cuts through anything. Be sure to get the 4AH battery for longer cutting time. I've tried other battery chainsaws but none performed as good as this chainsaw.
Have remote property with large pine trees with beetle kill. I wanted something I could carry in without having to worry about gas and hot surface. This saw is excellent for both. I took 2-batteries and was able to cut down 5 trees and cut to 8 ft lengths. smallest tree was 4 inches largest was over 20 inches. Saw worked as good as gas powered without the worry of starting a forest fire.
Very happy with this new chainsaw. Used it a couple of times now and it works really good. Looking for a case for it. No more hassle with gas mixing and pull starting. So far haven't had any leaking of chain oil. Saw gets 5 stars but only 4 stars for customer service after over 1 hour to get someone over the phone. But it is 2020??
Bought this chainsaw to help cut down 6 medium sized Bradford Pear trees. The power is amazing, as good as a low cost 52cc gas chainsaw I also own. However the supplied 4Ah battery did not last more than the equivalent of 4 cuts on a 16 in diameter log. I did buy a spare 2.5Ah battery but on the big cuts, there was a wait time for the supplied charger to charge battery up to full power. Would give a 4.5 star review if possible.
I bought this chainsaw as I already have a Greenworks 60v mower and wanted to use the same battery. The chainsaw has work great so far, though I have only done a limited amount of cutting. The saw is easy to handle and cut thru branches with relative ease. i would recommend this chainsaw.
Great chainsaw, purchased for some light tree trimming, ended up using to remove major hurricane damage from Sally. Cut through large limbs and branches with ease. Batter life on 2.5A lasted for about an hour or so of heavy usage on some sizable limbs.
I just received this chain saw and love it. used it right away to cut up a fallen tree about 10 inches in diameter. so much quieter than my gas saw almost as powerful. this is a lot easier to start.
