More powerful than I expected! Sliced right through the log length firewood I had delivered. I am a senior citizen and had no trouble using this saw. If a little old lady can use it, so can you.

Great cut when the chain stays on

Love this when the chain stays on. I constantly have to adjust the tension screw and the guard. Pretty annoying if you have to do more than few braches at a time.
Pros: Convenient, Quiet, Environmentally Safe, Powerful
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Chainsaw chains can come off due to multiple reasons such as worn-down bars, worn-down sprockets, and wrongly set chain tension. Chains should be tensioned before use. Please check the chain tension intermittently throughout each chore to make sure the chain is kept properly tensioned. A correctly tensioned chain should only pull away from the bar enough to fit a dime (10c) between the teeth and the bar.
If anything is worn or damaged, replace parts before using again.
Replace the bar if:
• the groove is not fit with the height of the drive links (which must never touch the bottom).
• the inside of the guide bar is worn and make the chain lean to one side.
Please note, do not tension a chain after you have finished using the tool.
Hot metal expands. If the chain is tensioned when hot, then allow to cool, the contracting metal could potentially damage the chain, the bar and even the unit. Wait until the next use (or at least until cooled) before tensions.

I'm a landlord and need this to clear trees/limbs from rentals. So far I've cut down (and cut into firewood lengths) a 8" thick/25 ft maple, an 8"/20 ft pecan, and a 10"/20 ft oak, plus a dozen 1"-3" thick weed trees and limbs. The oak tree base was about 18" but was able to cut it flush cutting all the way around with the 16" bar.
The saw started to stall on the oak stump as the battery was nearly depleted...changed it out and was back to full power. The 2.5 a-h battery lasts long enough to cut down and section 2 20" tall trees, or about 3 hours of work. More than I want to do at a time anyway.
No issues with tensioner loosening or oil not feeding. I sharpen the chain and clean after every use and it cuts very quickly. Weight is great with the 2.5 a-h battery with down facing cuts and felling cuts. Quiet enough to cut and not be heard inside a house.
I would recommend this to a friend!
