It has burred two chains when it came off the bar. Had to grind the guides to get the chain to fit back in the bar. Plenty of power but takes to long if the chain comes off. Batteries out of stock so only had the one that came with it. Quick response by the customer service department.

Hello Harrison,
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you have experienced an issue with the chain not staying on. New chains tend to stretch; so be sure to check the chain tension frequently and tension as required. However, be sure to never tension a warm chain before storing as chains shrink when cooling and this can damage the chain, bar and saw. Please note that this product carries a 4-year warranty from the date of purchase and 2-years on the battery. Wearable parts carry a 90-day warranty against wear and tear. At this time we are currently out of stock on many of our 60V batteries, however, we are expecting them to come in soon. They can be viewed using the following link: https://www.greenworkstools.com/shop-by-voltage?cat=49. In the meantime, you may enter your email into the appropriate field on the battery pages so that you can be notified as soon as the stock has been replenished.

Love the chainsaw. I have cut large logs18”-20” in diameter with no effort. It’s quiet. Don’t miss mixing fuel and a great relief not to deal with pull cord start. Easy to handle and also cuts very well. I have 2 batteries, 1 is in use and another fully charged ready to go. So battery life is not an issue with me One issue I never anticipated, cap for chain bar oil- I finger tightened it last use, went to refill later and had difficulty unscrewing it. It was tight and I almost felt that the plastic knob would break off. Played with it in a warmer area and luckily was able to unscrew it using needle nose pliers. Will be extra sensitive about tightening that cap in the future. I would have rated it 5 star if not for this issue.
I bucked a fallen red oak yesterday with my new chainsaw (60v, 18 inch bar, 4 AH battery) and I'm really impressed with how it handles, and cuts. What really surprised me was how long the battery lasted and still had some life left when I was done and on to splitting. It's not noisy either.
I’m a 40 year old woman who has never owned a chainsaw before. After using the greenworks line for my lawn this summer and being impressed I decided to buy it. It’s very light, easy to use (following the instructions I was cutting stuff down within 30 minutes). After the battery charged I used it for 3 hours of nearly non-stop cutting and it still had two bars left on the battery. If I could give half stars I would give this 4.5 - deducting the half point because it didn’t come with “bar and chain oil” that it absolutely must have to operate and I had to go and get it. The shipping was ridiculously fast, I joked with my husband that they may have had someone waiting down the block when I ordered it because it came a day or two later. So far I’m pleased with all my greenworks tools and I’m happy to have another battery for next spring when I’m back to mowing.
