Well worth it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife bought this for me for Birthday/Fathers Day present after I tried some GreenWorks tools my neighbor owned. I love it! it is quiet compared to both gas and corded electric saws I have used, and made short work of cutting a lot of large branches (4-6") downed in our yard by recent storms. It was easy to assemble out of the box, and ran without a hitch. My only problem is that I also ordered a wrench and blade scabbard, as the original description did not not that these came with it. I like it so much bought a second one to take to our vacation cottage.

My first battery chainsaw was a good choice

I purchased the 60V 18” cordless battery brushless 2.5kW chainsaw w/5.0aH battery and rapid charger. It works great. I was cutting logs for firewood and a charge lasted about 40 min. It cut like a hot knife in butter. Very pleased. However, when I purchased it. I was offered a second battery at discount. I bought that. I assumed the battery was the same as came with the chain saw. It was not. Instead of a 5.0aH. It was a 2.5. It only lasts 15 min tops. Rather disappointed. Next time please recommend or offer the same battery as came with the chain saw.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rapid charger just couldn't quite go fast enough to alternate two batteries, but it was close. I suggest 3 of the 5amps. The chain it came with it was litterally good for a couple cuts, ran to town got a SG 62 by country line as I couldnt wait to order another one from website I have a tree down I need to get it done. Then we cut wood, big wood, as seen and still have more to go some of these required two people to move on trailer and stack. Im looking for a chipper chain to fit it to get better bite.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this chainsaw a month ago to finish cleaning up in the aftermath of Helene at my property in east Tennessee. This is replacing an old gas chainsaw that had seen its better days. This saw cuts through wood like butter. I used it on trees that were over 12 inches in diameter and it worked great. Better yet, no more mixing gas or having to deal with gas at all. I couldn't be happier with my purchase
