Having used an electric chainsaw in the past with mixed results, I was skeptical of those purchase, but this thing is great! Fells trees and bucks logs just like I need it to for the overgrown property I just bought. Love how I can just pick it up and put it down without any hassle like a gas saw would entail.

Hello, I bought the 18 inch 80 v chain saw. It came with chain already on it. Is this standard ? it did not come with a tool to loosen and tighten chain.

This saw is all I hoped it would be. It works as advertised. It cuts good, has plenty of power to clean up those trees you want to remove from your yard or clean up after a storm. No messing with fuel and pull cord. Just add chain oil into the oil compartment, pop in a battery, and you're good to go. The oil compartment is translucent too, so you can monitor your oil easily.

Great saw and system, but Greenworks REALLY need to work on their packing for shipping! Slapping a label on a thin retail that's not even taped close is one of the worst was to ship I've seen in a while!

This chainsaw is amazing! I definitely prefer it to my gas/oil version. Just plug the battery in and go. I would recommend this for any homeowner. I get 3-4 hours of cutting (big and small logs) before needing to charge the battery.
