Well built , a great upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was purchased to replace my 40v Greenworks saw. Much more power and it feels sturdier. It is not tool free to tighten chain so keep the included wrench handy. It is heavy but with battery installed it balances nicely.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Weak Guide Bar

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brand New. Cut down an 8" pine. Made notch & cut tree down. On starting next cut to make shorter lengths, chain came off and severely damaged chain guard. Could not get chain back on guide bar. Thought it was the chain so replaced it, but new chain would not fit into guide bar, which had become pinched on both sides.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

New chains tend to stretch; so be sure to check the chain tension frequently and tension as required. However, be sure to never tension a warm chain before storing as chains shrink when cooling and this can damage the chain, bar and saw. 18" Chainsaw

The saw worked great, obviously we had no starting problems and the battery charge lasted well over an hour.

Never Ending Power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this chainsaw! So much torque and so much power! I have trimmed numerous trees and cut down 3 trees and this chainsaw always amazes. I have other 60v tools which I am able to use those batteries with this chainsaw for never ending power and all day work.

Very powerful. Took some tweeting on the tension but once I got it this thing ripped through the trees. Another great purchase.
