This saw cuts much better than my gas saws. I had a problem with the bar/chain oiler. Greenworks sent a replacement saw right away. Customer service is great.

I bought this last month and recently tried it out for the first time on some good-sized( around 4" diameter) branches that were downed by wind in my backyard. The saw made quick work of the slicing and dicing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've used the 60 volt chainsaw 3 times, so far, and just ordered a pole saw to go with it because i like it so much.
For me, the neatest feature is the fact that I can go around my 20 acres trimming, and it doesn't need to be pulled to start at every location. With gas I have to stop the saw, move to the next location, and start it up again. The convenience factor is really great.

Just what I needed

I like the lack of having to find the fuel prime the saw and then repeatedly try and start it. This saw is cheque that it has oil for the bar, has a charged battery and go to work. Enough said.

Received my 18" 60V chain saw, charged it and after a few test cuts I proceeded to cut down, limb and cut up a 35' 18" diameter pine tree all without recharging the battery! Turns out this saw is willing and able to work much longer than I am. No more fussing with a two stroke gas powered saw! I couldn't be happier!

Pretty darn good saw. Battery life was great at first but came down a bit over time. Not a big deal for me as I can cut a lot of wood on one charge and do another task (like drag branches) and hole it charges-or go get some tea.
I did have issues with the chain falling off and getting ruined. It happened twice on the first 2 days I had it. Hasn’t happened since so I’m not sure if it was me or the saw.
Overall, I’m pretty darn impressed and love the utility of an electric saw. That’s coming from someone on 20 acres of forest.

I seem to have one recurring problem! The chain comes out of the bar, yet the chain still turns but obviously, the cutting ability is greatly diminished.
