Had for about 2 years, bought 2nd battery. Use one have one charging. I have a bad shoulder and I'm fed up with the aggravation of starting a gas chainsaw. Hate trying to start them on the ground or in a tree. This one is for me!!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Greenworks 16" chainsaw is the perfect tool for trimming small trees branches off trunk. Cut 10" diameter tree branches easily. Battery life good for approximately one hour on and off use. Battery charger has a built in fan to keep the unit cool during charging. Good feature cause you know when it is done charging when the fan goes off. Great to not have to deal with gas engine noise and smell. Weight; not light but manageable. 5/5 Recommend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WOW, what a work horse this Greenworks Pro 16 in. Cordless Chainsaw is, absolutely amazing for a battery operated chainsaw. The weight of the chainsaw is so much easier for women and elderly people. Easy to hold while sawing through trees and shrubs. I have a lot of acreage and I was able to clean up my land, what a difference it made. The charger is fabulous, it has lights on it to let you know when it's fully charged, and charges quickly. I even messed up the chain and couldn't get it back on, so I filed the bent spots and put the chain right back on, no problems. The chain was easy to remove and it was easy to put back on. Did I mention how quiet it is, I've never had a chainsaw this quiet. Overall, this chainsaw is a piece of equipment you want to get your hands on! You'll be pleasantly surprised.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The branches on my tree in my front yard grow so low that pedestrians can’t walk on the sidewalk without hitting their head or bending down. So, every year I pay someone to cut them. This year I decided to do it myself. I had no idea what to expect with a battery powered chainsaw. I have used gas-powered chainsaws in the past for various projects, so I was a little skeptical to try a battery powered one. However, I am so glad I did! This chainsaw has power! I was able to cut all the branches with no problem and all on a single charge. It’s super easy to operate. I just read the instructions and I was ready to go. This chainsaw has as much power as any gas one I have tried. I will never use a gas-powered chainsaw again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great tool for a homeowner. It's easy to use, and not intimidating like a gas powered saw. No mixing gas and struggling with a pull start. It has double safety features with the chain break needing to be pulled back while in use. The blade doesn’t coast after you let off the trigger and that feels a lot safer than its gas counterpart. The only downside is that it lacks the torque to make aggressive cuts and the battery lasts just long enough to tackle only small projects.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well I absolutely lkve this chainsaw. I was skeptical that it wasn't gonna be powerful since I had never had an electric chainsaw be for but boy was I wrong, this thing is really powerful! It cuts thru tree limbs super smoothly with no grabbing and it is lightweight enough that I can get up I the tree with it myself. I would totally reccomended for anyone that does yardwork or cuts wood on a regular basis. It does require oil which I had to go buy, but no big deal
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a solid chainsaw. Super easy to use. It comes with 2.0 AH HC battery and charger. It took about 60 minutes for my battery to charge. It did an awesome job cutting. Its not too heavy and its easy to handle.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this to help clear debris from storms. Easy to use, not too heavy. The only thing is that the battery only lasts for a short time so if there is a lot of stuff to cut, this wont do the job. But if all you are looking to do is cut a couple of logs/tree limbs, its perfect.
