Tough, well built workhorse

After complaining about the problems starting my gas chainsaw, I was given this Greenworks chainsaw for my birthday. It has taken a chore and transformed it into a pleasure. This saw has the power it promised and cuts timber as easily as the 45cc unit it replaced with none of the noise, fumes and cord pulling. Remember to adjust the chain tension after about 5 or 10 minutes of cutting and you will have no problem with the chain coming off the bar as some have reported. The 4 amp hour battery will last through more than 15 cuts through 15 inch pine or 12 inch oak .

Purchased this chainsaw to tackle all the down limbs on my new property. I use it all the time. Rarely needs a re-charge. Great tool to have around. Would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a chainsaw.

I have used this chain saw several times now. It has exceeded my expectations. It’s very sturdy and well crafted. It’s powerful and runs much longer than I expected. It’s convenient. As an example, Just a few days I had a small tree trunk that was dead - maybe 3 inch diameter or less. My large lopper could not cut it. I would have normally gone for a saw at that point, but it was so easy to just grab my chain saw, pop in the battery, and take care of it quickly. I like the lighter weight of the 60 volt versus a heavier 80 volt for taking on big jobs.

Great chainsaw for cleanup. I am a male in my late fifties and live on two acres of land in Ohio. I have recommended Greenworks to both family and friends. Other reviews and price were a big factor in why I chose Geenworks. The quality and performance of this chainsaw has been outstanding. I taditionally only use a saw about once a month. Mainly because of the pain of needing fresh fuel and starting a gas chainsaw. It is so easy to just pop in a battery and go. I find myself not waiting for the jobs to pile up and take care of them sooner than later.

Bought this to take care of small limbs on our property. Love that the only thing needed is chain oil. Pull the trigger and you're cutting. Works great.

This is the real deal. Plenty of power and duration of the battery. My only gripe is that if the chain pops off, it gets bent and cannot be put back on the bar. This has happened to 2 chains so far. I am not sure how to prevent that from happening. The saw itself works great though
