Love this chainsaw!

After working for years with a gas powered chain saw ... this is a great change! No more mixing gas, no more sucking in fumes all day, no more clothes smelling like burned oil and much quieter. I will always have a need for a gas chainsaw (I live on 28 acres of forestland), but for quick jobs and pruning ... perfect. Very high quality product.

No More Two Stoke Cologne

So nice to cut up the firewood and not smell all day.
It works just as good as a gas model and the batteries last for over an hour of near constant cutting.When one dies I put it on the charger and itis ready to go before the other one dies. Now adding a Leafblower to my arsenal.

I was sceptical running this saw at first and thought there was no way the battery would last as long as I needed it to. But I have used it a couple of times with the intent to drain the battery and work as long as I could but the battery out lasted the work on both occasions. I am pleasantly surprised and see no reason to go back to gas chainsaw. I will recommend this chainsaw to anyone and I plan to try the other greenworks tools as well

I got this saw for Christmas and I love it. The 60v battery matches my mower, trimmer, and blower - so it's a great fit for the garage. Would absolutely recommend. Wouldn't be great for prolonged use without extra batteries - but plenty for my level of work.

Chain jumps bar and gets burrs from power wheel

It has burred two chains when it came off the bar. Had to grind the guides to get the chain to fit back in the bar. Plenty of power but takes to long if the chain comes off. Batteries out of stock so only had the one that came with it. Quick response by the customer service department.

New chains tend to stretch; so be sure to check the chain tension frequently and tension as required. However, be sure to never tension a warm chain before storing as chains shrink when cooling and this can damage the chain, bar and saw. Please note that this product carries a 4-year warranty from the date of purchase and 2-years on the battery. Wearable parts carry a 90-day warranty against wear and tear.
