The chainsaw is very powerful, I have used it to cut down trees and other brush in my yard. Great buy. I am a novice at using chainsaws and this was the perfect beginners tool. I learned that I needed to avoid coming into contact with dirt or the chain would get a crank in it. However I have learned the lesson and the chainsaw works great.

Excellent Power

I use this tool for residential use and the power is excellent. I have cut up some smaller 8 inch diameter pieces of wood and cut up some seasoned firewood without any issue. I have a small gasoline chainsaw (which is a decent little saw) but I prefer the greenworks saw. It is nice not needing to deal with gas and oil mixtures, cleaning the carburetor, and exhaust fumes, and much less noise.
