This is my second chainsaw from Greenworks - The fist saw I had 2 problems with #1) the saw would leek oil, when I asked about this they told me I was to remove all of the oil when not in use - very impractical ! #2) the screw / gear to tighen the chain was misformed and would not move - Finally Greenworks replaced my old saw with a new one, I truly apricated that but soon after my saw was stolen from my yard I baught a new saw and noticed some great improvments, hopfully the oil wont leek, the screws to the chain cover stay on cover when opened, the wrench is now separte and dosent slide out of the handel, I used my new saw for the past 2 days cutting 3 piles of debris for bulk trash and it cut through everything like it was BUTTER!
Received the saw in a timely manner and it works great - had to tighten the chain once already --great saw for us elderly people.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello karensuec,
Thank you for your positive feedback! We are glad to read that overall, you have been enjoying this Chain Saw. We pride ourselves on creating long lasting tools that have great use and function. Please keep in mind that new chains tend to stretch; so be sure to check the chain tension frequently and tension as required. However, be sure to never tension a warm chain before storing as chains shrink when cooling and this can damage the chain, bar and saw. In the meantime, please feel welcome to submit an email using the customer contact page on our website or give us a call at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS) with any questions or concerns. Ok, so this purchase was something I have long considered. Now that I got it, I don't think that I will EVER pick up my 14" or 18" gas powered chainsaws again... This thing has some serious power and is easy to use! Love it.
Whoa! Torque! Finsihed what a gas power chainsaw couldn't.

I borrowed an older gas-powered chainsaw for some light-medium duty work. 6-8in logs. It pooped out, overheated and stalled. This 16" has serious instant torque and with brand new teeth, it tore through the rest of my job. A little too fast, I finished before I was done having fun. I was looking around for other things to cut. It has great balance and is comfortable to hold. I have the Pro 60V lawnmower and both batteries (5.0 and 2.5) work for both tools. Great to keep it in the Pro 60V family!!!!! Highly recommend getting one. My wife says "this is not a toy." Maybe she is right... tehe...
Just received the chainsaw, 2.5ah battery and charger. Love the saw but the 2.5ah battery really limits the amount of work you can get done. Would have preferred that a 4 or 5ah battery came with the saw to make it far more useful for a longer period of time. I know the higher ah battery would cost more but it would be worth the extra cost given how quickly the 2.5ah battery runs out of juice.
