Bought one about 3 years ago. Works really good but leaks bar oil like a seve. Always has. Makes a mess even after I try to drain all the oil out. Just keeps getting worse. Used to day and have oil running down legs of jeans. Will not buy another earthwise product. Not very good for environment with oil leaking everywhere.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Mikeht,
Thank you for your feedback. Sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Chain Saw. Due to the gravity-fed auto oiling system, it is normal for unused oil to seep from the saw when not in use. To prevent seepage, we suggest emptying the oil tank after each use than running the unit for one minute. When storing the saw, loosen the cap to avoid pressure being built up in the oil tank which will help with residual oil leaking. To avoid emptying the tank, try only adding the amount of oil that you think will be needed and top it up as necessary during use. However, please note if the unit is leaking while in use, this may not be considered normal. These tools are fantastic! They are light and extremely efficient. I am extremely impressed with the power and torque. I had compared several different companies, but I knew green works was one of the first companies to introduce electric tools. That sealed my decision, and I couldn’t be happier I went with them. These are quality affordable products! I will plan on adding to the collection soon.
