Great saw. Lightweight, powerful and very simple to operate. Battery lasts for a lot of small cuts. Did not even use 1/4 of the charge after cutting down several small trees.

When a tree fell by our house, we bought the 60v chainsaw and couldn't believe how easily it cut thru that tree. We couldn't be more pleased with all Greenworks tools!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out of its box I was impressed with how simple it was to operate; add lubricant and put it to work. Adjusting the tension on the chain was never easier. It has a good balanced feel in your hands attesting to its flawless ergonomic design. Very pleased with the performance, too. After years of gas powered chainsaws belching out harmful hydrocarbons, its clean use is like a breath of fresh air and I highly recommend it.

Purchase Bar and Chain oil before you purchase this. Don’t be like me and think it’s ready to use straight out of the box. ITS NOT ! I was all set to get some work done when it arrived but could not until I made a drive to Homedepot. I am a huge greenworks fan, but it not coming with oil is ridiculous.

I had previously borrowed gas powered chainsaws to remove some trees destroyed by bark beetle on my property. They helped me cut down some of the trees but always seemed to take a long time to get through each tree.
The Greenworks chainsaw is simply more powerful than the gas powered ones and has allowed me to cut down fifteen dead trees and provide firewood for my neighbors. It is easy to clean and adjust as well.
