Not worth the money

This is a worthless chainsaw. I have yet for it to be able to cut any piece of wood without stopping and it will not restart even doing a reset. I have only had this chainsaw for maybe 2 months. Save your hard earned money. I would LOVE to be able to return this, so it does not take up valuable space in my shop

The chainsaw might stop and not start due to a few common reasons, including: a faulty battery connection, an engaged chain brake, a poorly tensioned chain, a clogged bar or chain with debris, an overloaded motor due to heavy cutting, a low battery charge, or an internal electrical issue that triggers the safety overload protection mechanism; we recommend always checking the user manual for specific troubleshooting steps for your model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been looking, thinking and pulling my few hairs out with the great debate.... Gas or Battery???
I have Muscular dystrophy and autoimmune disease along with other issues that limit and cause weakness in my arms and legs.
I was afraid I wouldn't be able to use one at all. Well, a Christmas sale later and I'm (when my son doesn't take it) cutting wood.😄
I LOVE THIS CHAINSAW!!!😍😍😍
It's quiet, cuts great and I don't recall any kickback since I started working with it. Greenworks has built a Great chainsaw.
My only issue is the battery is only 2.5ah and doesn't last that long when cutting larger trees. So I bought 2 more batteries!! Issue solved!🥳😉

Better than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a couple of years ago after retiring my old gas saw. I was not planning any more yard work but wanted to have a saw available. It sat for several years. Then I need one for some unexpected work. It worked perfectly and was very rugged. I was very happy in the way it performed.

These battery saws have come a long way. No gas, biodegradable plant based bar oil. Louder than I expected. Great saw, saw far. Haha

Has got what is needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to augment my other gas saws. I had a chance to use it in the neighborhood when a large tree in our park blocked the road. I took it there to see if it could handle it. It cut that tree with no problem. This saw is 60V and it is just another tool in my growing Greenwork family, mower, edger, saw, leaf blower,and edger. I am no tree hugger, but electric is so nice to have!
