The saw arrived today, and I put it to work as soon as I got home. I have a Greenworks mower so I already have a 5 amp hour battery. I was cutting up some rather dense elm and ash logs ranging from around 5" up to 20" in diameter with it, and probably made around 20 cuts and still had 2 bars on the battery. It was hot out, and my back gave out before the saw ran the battery completely down. For what I need a chainsaw for this saw is perfect. No more gas fumes, noise, and pull starting for me.

Impressed with the cutting power and battery longevity. Love the idea of having the same battery for multiple products which also allows for longer ability to work. This is my second greenworks product and I am looking at more.

This chainsaw is light, no as loud as a gas operated saw, very easy to operate, performs like any other gas chainsaw without having to deal with adding gas. The 16” is great for all those small jobs you have around your house. I have purchased 8 different Greenworks tools in the last two years but was reluctant to buy a battery operated chainsaw. I’am very happy that I made this purchase.

Works fine --easy cutting 12" log. Only reason for a 4 star is chain oil continues to drip when not being used. How can you store to prevent oi leaking?
