These Chainsaws were made for Hurricane Season

Great tool!
We live in South Louisiana and the 2020 Hurricane season was not nice at all to us.
After Hurricane Delta passed in our area, we had numerous trees down in our and friends yards. We knew we had to purchase a chainsaw and make the most out of the situation and set our selves up with plenty of firewood from these trees for the winter. We’ve purchased Greenworks products in the past and have never been disappointed. This chainsaw was no different! Helped us get the job done with ease! Lightweight and decent battery life.

Design needs some work

Received this saw, 16" 60 volts@2aHr, as a Christmas present in 2019. I was skeptical about using a battery powered device but it was a gift. I didn't get the opportunity to use it until the fall of 2020 and I was pleasantly surprised by the saw's performance. It cuts well and has adequate performance for a small saw, as good as my smaller gas powered saws. However, the chain bar bends easily and then takes a "set" causing crooked cutting. Also, the chain bar seems to wear quickly. I suggest the bar be looked at from a material standpoint, possibly a different steel alloy with a little more spring in the material. I have used the saw for about 10 battery charges and now I have to try and straighten the bar.
