This is my first chainsaw. I'm not comfortable with power tools and never trusted myself to buy a chainsaw. I bought this after reading many positive reviews. I couldn't be happier, as it's powerful, easy to use, and I feel safe with it. I've used it so far to cut down and cut up some saplings, maybe up to 3 or 4" - not a hint of a problem. This has saved me so much time and sweat from doing this work with hand saws, I wish I'd discovered this earlier.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been completely skeptical of battery chainsaws. It just seems like an oxymoron. But this 60v saw has turned me entirely about. I've now sold my 16" gas saw. No more weight, pull starts, gas spills, repairs, carburetor rebuilds, ear-splitting noise. No more. Now, I just pick it up and get the work done. So sweet. :-)

I bought this a month ago. Used it on a 8” tree. I’m very pleased with its power and ability to handle the green wood. I also have the 60v lawnmower which I absolutely love. And the batteries are interchangeable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good but not gas

I’ve had this chainsaw for a few months and it works really well for anything under 8” but isn’t worth the money. Don’t expect to buck any trees unless you have a few batteries. Slow going through a 10” Birch tree. Took me about 25aH (10 charges) of battery with a sharp chain to buck about 12 rounds (8-11”) I bought an extra 5aH battery which is absolutely necessary if you want to do anything more than trim branches. If you are doing yard work, just get a corded chainsaw. If you are going to the woods, get gas. Overall, I just regret buying a battery powered chainsaw. Unless you need to be extra quiet while cutting, the value just isn’t there.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used the Greenworks chain saw extensively since receiving it. It has worked well and exceeded my expectations in all categories. It has ample power and the battery life allows for plenty of work to be accomplished.
