I needed something to clean up a couple of acres of deadfall and this turned out to be just the tool to do it. I already owned a Green Works 60v weed eater so the batteries work for both and I can keep going all day with either one.

I’ve used this several times and it has become my go to for cleanup around my 15 acres. I think we are all skeptical of battery power but this is definitely next-gen power and reliability. It’s quieter than gas and it over performs for its size. Great for cleanup and so far felling trees up to 10”

I have 4 of your products (mower,trimmer,blower, edger) and love them. If you are a female and do your own yardwork, these are the best tools ever. They are easy to use, not heavy at all, easily rechargeable and has a good battery life. Mower is easy to push and no backaches. Very pleased with the Greenworks products.

Happy with my decision to go with a battery powered tool

I've had this chainsaw about a month and so far I'm very pleased. I decided to go battery powered to avoid yet another tool in the shed that required a gas mixture. The saw is plenty powerful and I tire out before the 2.5 Ah battery does. So far I've used it for light limb trimming, taking down a few trees about 8" diameter, and sawing up a downed tree of about 13" diameter.

recieved the saw soon after I ordered it.
charged the battery and immediately put the saw to work. I loved not having to pull a rope. I just trigger the saw and cut down an eight inch tree. It was quick and easy. I really like this saw.

I recieved the saw quickly. I put the battery on charge while I was doing something else. when the battery was charged I cut down an eight inch tree that was in the way. I love the fact I did not have pull a rope to start the saw. I also love the fact I do not have to deal with old fuel. This is a good saw for an older man like myself. It lets me continue to keep our place clean of unwanted growth.

I'm a landlord and need this to clear trees/limbs from rentals. So far I've cut down (and cut into firewood lengths) a 8" thick/25 ft maple, an 8"/20 ft pecan, and a 10"/20 ft oak, plus a dozen 1"-3" thick weed trees and limbs. The oak tree base was about 18" but was able to cut it flush cutting all the way around with the 16" bar.
The saw started to stall on the oak stump as the battery was nearly depleted...changed it out and was back to full power. The 2.5 a-h battery lasts long enough to cut down and section 2 20" tall trees, or about 3 hours of work. More than I want to do at a time anyway.
No issues with tensioner loosening or oil not feeding. I sharpen the chain and clean after every use and it cuts very quickly. Weight is great with the 2.5 a-h battery with down facing cuts and felling cuts. Quiet enough to cut and not be heard inside a house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this chain saw. It is light weight and easy to start! We’ve used a hand saw for trimming the oak tree in the front yard and it would take us a good part of the day. Using this chainsaw we were done in about 15 minutes! The chainsaw cut through the branches with no problems, did not get stuck at all. So easy!
To fully charge the battery it took 55 minutes. The only thing I did not like about charging was the sound of the fan motor was very noticeable. With my other charging tools there is no sound. But that is a minor inconvenience to me.
I wish the safety cover for the blade locked in somehow as it did slip off while I was carrying it to the garage.
Overall I really enjoy this chainsaw. Can’t wait to see what else I can use it on, which may be a problem for my husband.!
