Simple to put together

Well built , a great upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was purchased to replace my 40v Greenworks saw. Much more power and it feels sturdier. It is not tool free to tighten chain so keep the included wrench handy. It is heavy but with battery installed it balances nicely.

Weak Guide Bar

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brand New. Cut down an 8" pine. Made notch & cut tree down. On starting next cut to make shorter lengths, chain came off and severely damaged chain guard. Could not get chain back on guide bar. Thought it was the chain so replaced it, but new chain would not fit into guide bar, which had become pinched on both sides.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

New chains tend to stretch; so be sure to check the chain tension frequently and tension as required. However, be sure to never tension a warm chain before storing as chains shrink when cooling and this can damage the chain, bar and saw.
